“Active Youth” Initiative Gathered Creative Ideas in the Youth Park

On July 1, the Youth Park turned into a platform for bold ideas, constructive discussions, and genuine civic energy. Under the slogan “Active Youth” the young people of Ruse took the initiative into their own hands to share their vision for the development of our city and to prove that their voice matters.

The event was entirely initiated and prepared by a group of motivated young individuals, and the team at the International Youth Center had the pleasure of standing right behind them, providing full logistical, material, and coordination support to turn their idea into reality.

Interest in the event was exceptional. Dozens of young people joined the open discussions and shared specific, well-thought-out, and extremely valuable proposals for improving the urban environment and social life. Among the most prominent ideas were:

• Social Spaces: Creating more and more functional spaces for young people to gather and socialize;

• Sports and Adventures: An idea to build a large adventure park in the city;

• Care for the Vulnerable: Providing more resources and better care for stray animals.

The “Active Youth” event proved once again that when young people receive trust and support, they are ready to be the drivers of positive change. Our team will continue to work actively so that these great ideas reach the right institutions and come to fruition.
