International Youth Center – Ruse Marks World Car Free Day with a Cycling Event During European Mobility Week
On 22 September, the International Youth Center – Ruse marked World Car Free Day as part of European Mobility Week with a cycling event. The initiative brought together members of Youth Parliament Ruse and young people aged 15 to 29.
In addition to a cycling ride along the beautiful Danube waterfront, the event featured a variety of fun sports challenges that tested the participants’ abilities while creating a lively atmosphere filled with smiles, positive emotions and shared experiences.
A day earlier, representatives of the International Youth Center and young volunteers joined representatives of the Municipality of Ruse in Youth Park, where they held a demonstration on safe cycling. The activity included practical advice and guidance on responsible cycling and safe behavior on the road.
We would like to thank all the young people who took part and helped turn the initiative into a true celebration of active mobility, positive energy and shared experiences.
The activity is implemented under Grant Agreement No. 021/2026 within the project “Youth in Action”, funded by the Youth Centers Financing Programme in the Republic of Bulgaria (2026–2028) of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
