Every Dream Has the Power to Fly: Youth from the “Social Housing” Unit Inspire with a Creative Initiative

On July 7, 2026, an inspiring youth initiative titled “Wings of Dreams” took place. The leading role in the event belonged entirely to the young people from the “Social Housing” Unit at the Municipal Enterprise “Social Activities and Services” – Ruse Municipality, who independently initiated, planned, and realized their idea. The team of the International Youth Center – Ruse proudly stood behind them, providing organizational support, materials, and a positive environment to help them unleash their full potential.

The main goal of the initiative was to encourage the free expression of personal goals, dreams, and positive thinking in a safe and supportive atmosphere. The youth themselves proposed the concept, chose the motivating motto “Every dream has the power to fly,” and organized the entire creative process.

Throughout the activity, there was a profound sense of emotional engagement, mutual respect, and high motivation. As a result of this creative work, the young people developed key skills in self-expression, teamwork, and confidence in pursuing their future goals.

The most meaningful moment came at the conclusion, when the youth made a joint and entirely independent decision – to add new wings and new dreams to the collage every year. In this way, the initiative turns into a sustainable tradition, symbolizing the development of the youth and the expansion of an active, tight-knit local community.
