International Youth Center – Ruse Attended the Official Presentation of “Europe Direct – Ruse”

Representatives of the International Youth Center – Ruse took part in the official presentation of the new center “Europe Direct – Ruse”, which was held in the “St. George” Hall in the Ruse Municipality building. The event brought together representatives of institutions, organizations, and partners committed to the development of European policies and opportunities in the region.

During the press conference, the program of “Europe Direct – Ruse” for the 2026–2030 period was unveiled. The center will be part of the European Commission’s network and will provide up-to-date information on European Union policies, European funding opportunities, and initiatives for active civic participation.

Key activities planned for 2026 include information campaigns, youth initiatives and competitions, public discussions, as well as the implementation of joint events and partner projects. A strong emphasis was placed on the necessity for active cooperation between institutions, organizations, and local communities.

The head of the center, Anna-Maria Hristova, highlighted the ambition of “Europe Direct – Ruse” to be beneficial to both citizens and businesses in the region, establishing itself as a platform for dialogue, partnerships, and European development.

The participation of the International Youth Center – Ruse in the event marks another step toward building sustainable partnerships and promoting the active involvement of young people in European initiatives and public life.
