International Youth Center – Ruse Guests at the 15th Anniversary Celebration of OIC – Ruse

On May 8, Hall 1 of the Regional Administration – Ruse hosted a celebratory event marking the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the District Information Center (OIC) – Ruse under the motto “Connecting Ideas with Opportunities.” The International Youth Center – Ruse had the pleasure of being among the guests and partners sharing this special milestone.

The event, organized on the eve of Europe Day, brought together representatives of institutions, non-governmental organizations, educational and cultural bodies, businesses, and the civic sector. The meeting served as a platform to present good practices, development opportunities, and ideas for future joint initiatives supporting the local community and the growth of the Ruse region.

Among the official guests was the Mayor of Ruse Municipality, Pencho Milkov, who highlighted the significant role of OIC – Ruse as a reliable partner and mediator between citizens and the opportunities provided by European programs.

The event featured participation from representatives of organizations and networks such as EURES, Europe Direct Ruse, the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, EURODESK, and other partner structures actively working for regional development and youth support.

For the International Youth Center – Ruse, taking part in such initiatives is a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, establish new partnerships, and promote active youth engagement in public life. The Center continues to focus its efforts on developing youth policies, non-formal education, and international cooperation for the benefit of young people in Ruse and the region.
