International Youth Center – Ruse Supports Charity “Don’t Get Angry” Tournament
As part of the activities promoting active participation and social interaction among young people, the team of the International Youth Center – Ruse joined and supported a charity “Don’t Get Angry” board game tournament organized by the “NAPRED” Association.
The event took place on Peristeri Alley in the Youth Park and brought together more than 70 participants. Although the tournament was not organized by the International Youth Center – Ruse, members of the Center’s team actively took part in the competition, supporting the cause and encouraging participation in initiatives that combine social interaction, entertainment and community engagement.
The charity tournament used the popular board game “Don’t Get Angry” as an opportunity to support students in need, bringing people together around a cause of solidarity and mutual support. Events like this create opportunities for people of different ages to connect, communicate and actively participate in community life.
Representatives of the International Youth Center – Ruse also took part in the competition. Among the top participants was Preslava Pirgozlieva, a member of the International Youth Center – Ruse team, who achieved fourth place. The tournament winner was Lilyana Nikolova, followed by Svetoslav Zahariev in second place and Aleksandar Muradyan in third.
The competition lasted nearly five hours and was held in a friendly atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, good spirits and positive interaction. Prizes and additional awards were provided for the participants, while various activities and entertainment were organized for the youngest visitors throughout the day.
The participation of the International Youth Center – Ruse in the initiative is in line with the Center’s efforts to encourage active youth participation, social interaction, volunteering and engagement in community life. As part of the “Youth Week of Active Movement – Ruse is Moving!” initiative, the Center supports activities that create opportunities for movement, communication, learning through experience and participation in positive community causes.
The charity tournament showed that active participation is not limited to sports activities – it can also be a way for people to connect, build relationships and contribute together to a more supportive and engaged community.
