International Youth Center – Ruse Participated in the National Meeting of Youth Centers in Dobrich

Part of the team of the International Youth Center – Ruse took part in the National Meeting of Youth Centers, which was held in the city of Dobrich.
The event was hosted by the Youth Center – Dobrich, and the main topic of the meeting was the development of tools for more active participation of young people in social life, as well as enhancing the skills of specialists working with youth.

In recent years, a significant expansion of the network of youth centers in Bulgaria has been observed. While in 2016 only four centers participated in it, today their number reaches around twenty, shares youth worker Nikolay Nikolov.
“During the event, we exchange experience, good ideas, and practices. Newly established centers draw experience from more established structures that have a longer history in non-formal education and youth work. The role of educational mediators is also being examined,” Nikolov added.

The National Meeting of Youth Centers once again proved the importance of cooperation, exchange of experience, and joint work for the sake of the active participation of young people in public life.
