Laughter and Shared Emotions: The Youth Initiative “Laughter Brings Us Together” United Students in Ruse

On June 5, 2026, the inspiring youth initiative under the slogan “Laughter Brings Us Together” took place at SUEE “St. Constantine – Cyril the Philosopher.” Entirely organized and implemented by creative eleventh-grade students, the event proved once again that young people possess immense energy and potential to drive positive change within their school environment. The team from the International Youth Center – Ruse was delighted to back them up, providing the necessary support and mentorship throughout the preparation and execution process.

The core idea of the initiative was to foster communication, cohesion, and friendly relationships among the youth through the power of fun and interactive games. The eleventh-grade organizers took a completely leading role—they designed the event’s concept themselves, prepared the rules, and coordinated all activities, demonstrating enviable teamwork, responsibility, and leadership skills.

The program unfolded in an exceptionally dynamic and friendly atmosphere, thanks to two main challenges:

• “Laughter Steps”: An interactive game featuring engaging questions about daily and school life, which helped attendees discover common interests and similar experiences.

• “Olee Card”: A fun challenge packed with acting tasks, impressions, and role-playing scenarios that energized everyone present and triggered a wave of positive emotions.

In just 40 minutes, the initiative achieved fantastic success. The young people displayed high levels of engagement, tolerance, and mutual respect. Through this shared experience, they developed their communication skills, freely expressed their creative thinking, and built stronger connections with one another.

With this initiative, the students proved that when given a space to shine, they can successfully realize ideas that unite their peers and foster a supportive school atmosphere.
