“Mind Games” Challenged Students to Develop Their Observation and Logical Thinking Skills

A youth initiative entitled “Mind Games”, proposed by young people from the International Youth Centre – Ruse, was held at the Secondary School of European Languages “St. Konstantin-Kiril Filosof”. Combining fun, intellectual challenges and teamwork, the initiative was designed and delivered by the young organisers with the support of the Centre’s youth workers. Its main goal was to encourage observation, concentration and logical thinking among their peers through interactive activities.

The programme included two main challenges – the “Spot the Difference” game and a series of logic riddles. Working in pairs, participants had to identify small changes, analyse different situations and solve problems by using observation, creativity and effective cooperation.

In addition to tackling a variety of intellectual challenges, the students had the opportunity to exchange ideas, support one another and strengthen their communication and teamwork skills. The positive atmosphere and enthusiastic participation turned the initiative into an engaging learning experience that encouraged curiosity, critical thinking and learning through play.

The “Mind Games” initiative is another example of how young people can create meaningful and inspiring activities for their peers. With the support of the International Youth Centre – Ruse, their ideas are transformed into initiatives that develop key life skills, encourage active participation and promote non-formal learning.
