On June 8 and 11, the “InnoBridge” Business Innovation Center organized a series of on-site visits to five companies in Ruse, where students from PGIU – Ruse had the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs, managers, and specialists from various sectors. The initiative was carried out within the framework of Project No. BG‑RRP‑1.008‑0008 “Construction of an International Youth Center – Ruse” and aims to acquaint young people with the real work environment, professional roles, and development opportunities in the local economy.
The visits covered five different companies, each of which presented its activities, team, and path to success. These meetings were the first steps toward forming professional attitudes, understanding teamwork, responsibility, and creating value. For many of the students, this was their first encounter with the real business world, which can unlock new interests and provide the confidence that success is achievable.
At “NRG Soft,” students from the “Economic Informatics” program learned about the company’s work as a system integrator in the field of intelligent security solutions. Founder Todor Gechev shared valuable advice on entrepreneurial thinking and developing a tech business in Bulgaria. At “FAAC Bulgaria,” students toured the offices and departments for programming and accounting, gaining insight into the work processes of an international company. The visit to “Sansi” presented activities related to health and safety at work, while at “Fininfo.bg,” students learned about digital solutions and opportunities for financing businesses through European and national programs. At “Checkpoint Club,” the owner Simeon Palamarkov, a graduate of PGIU himself, shared his personal experience in starting a business and innovative market approaches.
The visits involved active discussions, during which students gained a real perspective on various professions, inspiration from the entrepreneurs’ personal stories, and practical guidance for future development. The initiative by BIC “InnoBridge” is a key step toward building a sustainable link between education and business, helping young people make a more informed choice for their professional path.
