The IYC Team Drew Inspiration from EnduroSat’s Space Technologies

The youth workers from the International Youth Center attended the specialized lecture “The Future of Space and Space Education,” organized by the “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse. The guest speaker at the event was Dr. Victor Danchev – Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the successful Bulgarian nanosatellite company EnduroSat.

The forum was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniela Yordanova, Head of the Career Development Center at the university, while the Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Teodor Iliev, extended a warm welcome to all attendees.

During the meeting, Dr. Danchev introduced the academic community and the young people in the audience to the impressive scale of the home-grown space industry. Today, EnduroSat operates its own infrastructure with over 70 satellites in orbit, maintains offices in 7 countries, and boasts a team of more than 350 specialists.

For the IYC team, it was incredibly valuable to learn more about the company’s large-scale investments in education. For 15 years now, the company has been organizing the “Space Challenges” summer program and actively supporting specialized Master’s programs across the country, proving that the future of high-tech industries relies on the training and motivation of young people.

The participation of the International Youth Center in such events is part of our ongoing commitment to act as a bridge between the youth in the region and the most modern opportunities for career and personal development.
