Youth Initiative “Games of Will!” Energized Ninth-Graders at the Vocational School of Transport
On April 27, 2026, the Vocational School of Transport in the city of Ruse hosted an exciting youth initiative under the slogan “Games of Will!” The initiative was organized entirely based on the ideas and active participation of ninth-grade students, who demonstrated exceptional initiative and a strong desire to challenge themselves and their classmates. The team from the International Youth Center – Ruse stepped into its natural role as a supporting force, assisting the young people with activity coordination and ensuring a safe, calm, and motivating environment.
The main focus of the event was placed on physical activity, pushing personal boundaries, developing self-control, and building positive relationships. The program, created by the youth, consisted of three stages, all carried out in the spirit of sportsmanship:

“Mind, Speed, and Control”: A role-playing game aimed at developing participants’ concentration, logical thinking, and quick reactions when executing tasks within a limited timeframe.

“Duel”: A dynamic head-to-head competition that challenged the youth’s agility, balance, and endurance, combined with strict adherence to the rules of fair play.

“Commando Duel”: A final challenge combining an obstacle course completed in the shortest time possible, requiring strong coordination and adaptability. The top-performing participant was recognized and took home a prize—a T-shirt featuring the International Youth Center – Ruse logo.
The students joined in with immense enthusiasm, supported each other through every trial, and took an active part in the voting and evaluation process of their peers. The day’s results showed not only an increase in physical activity but also improved teamwork, higher confidence, and a clear awareness of the importance of sports and discipline in daily life.
