Youth Initiative “Mission Happiness” Charged Ninth-Graders with Positivity and Team Spirit

On the occasion of the International Day of Happiness on March 20th, ninth-grade students set an excellent example of leadership and creativity by developing and implementing their original initiative “Mission Happiness – Festival of Smiles.” The event transformed the school environment into a space for shared emotions, proving that the most successful ideas are those that come directly from young people.

The festival was built around interactive role-playing games and non-formal communication methods, through which the participants constructed “living sculptures” of friendship and passed positive messages to one another. The youth innovators prepared the concept themselves, structured the game scenarios, and stepped into the role of hosts, demonstrating enviable organizational skills and responsibility. The supporting team from the International Youth Center – Ruse provided methodological assistance, facilitating the process and encouraging activity within the groups.

The initiative achieved its primary goal—to foster positive thinking and unite the youth community through laughter and cooperation. The success of “Mission Happiness” is yet another proof that when young people are given the freedom and support to realize their ideas, they create meaningful change in the environment around them.
